I aim to provide realistic hair extensions that are thicker and longer than your natural hair. The end result should look as though your own hair has grown longer and fuller, rather than like you have had extensions.
Additionally, the extensions should blend seamlessly into your own hair with no telltale signs.
In contrast to glued extensions, normal wear and tear does not distress these extensions. So grease, hair conditioner, water or an active lifestyle will not make them drop out. They manage to be very secure and resilient without snapping your hair.
Also, as they do not fall out, they do not need to keep on being replaced so there are no hidden costs.
My pet hates are:-
· Thin extensions.
· The obvious Clip In Extensions look with a thin mullet at the back.
· Blunt ends (natural hair is slightly tapered at the end, so extensions should be too!!)
· Plastic looking hair.
· Wrong tone/ Colour match, i.e a person with honey blonde hair having yellow blonde
extensions. This mistake usually looks o.k in pictures but is very noticeable
in natural light.
· Visible bonds or joins at the top, back or sides of the hair, the areas where your
hair meets the extensions should not be publicly visible. (see Gallery 9).
